Pacamara Detail Image

This is our new crop Pacamara, which has become a true symbol of Blackroad.
We love Pacamara so much that, although our team shirts lack the Blackroad logo, they proudly feature an image of Pacamara beans!

Pacamara is a hybrid of Pacas (Bourbon) and Maragogipe (Typica). Thanks to Maragogipe’s genes (also known as “elephant beans”), Pacamara beans are quite large. Honestly, Pacamara beans aren’t the prettiest compared to Geisha!

So why is Pacamara so loved?
It’s all about the depth of flavor. While it lacks the flashy aromatics of flavored or fermented coffees, it boasts prominent, peachy, complex acidity, full body, and a long, lingering finish.
Pacamara is grown in many countries now, but the most legendary comes from Finca El Injerto, Guatemala—the one we’re sharing today.

Finca El Injerto has won the Cup of Excellence multiple times not for Geisha, but with Pacamara (one year, their Pacamara even beat Geisha!). This unforgettable taste made us passionate about Pacamara. No Pacamara from other origins has matched it so far.
If you truly love coffee, consider making Pacamara your daily cup.
Highly recommended!
